Lighting Research

The lighting techniques we want to use in our video will be:

Using a light behind the artist. We want to create the same effect as in Katy Perrys video 'Hot and Cold'

We will also use lighting to focus on the artists face, This will make them stand out more and make the audience focus on them rather then anything else happening in the back ground or on the other band member. We might use this whilst the artist is lip syncing.  They have used this type of lighting in the video 'In one ear - Cage the elephant'
