In the half term i asked 10 different people to watch our rough cut video and give feedback on what we can improving through editing, mise-en-scene and for the next time we go out filming.
1: Include more costume changes because it is all very similar.
2: Include more camera angles and shots of the band preforming because at the moment it is very similar and is mostly a mid shot of the band.
3: Portray the storyline more, maybe include the boy in the video because then it will explain the story more.
4: Sometimes you can't tell what the main singer is saying so it makes it look like it's not lip synced, do more shots where it's more clear what he's saying.
5: Add more effects and filters to match the genre - like the girl is in black and white, add a filter for when the band is playing.
6: Have more editing on the beat, when the girl is walking to the door then have it to match the beat of the music.
7: film more clips of the band playing because you need more cuts
8: Have more movement in your video, use tracking and pan shots more or more handheld shots.
9: include more costume changes because it doesn't really match the genre.
10: Make the scenes with the girl more clear for the storyline.
