Task Three - Social Media

Bands use social media to connect with their fans, it gives fans information on the band and the events they're doing. It also include images of gigs they have previously done and it is a way for the fans to interact with the band from home.

The band One night only have a Facebook and Twitter page which they post pictures and also their new music for the fans to see and listen to.

Using social media also creates a star persona for the band. It gives the fans a chance to see the real people rather than just them in the band. They post pictures of them working on the tracks they will produce and also pictures that show their personality rather than just to do with working. This gives fans a chance to connect with the band.

 - posting personal pictures of the band creates a star persona so this could make the band more likeable as individuals and also makes the fans feel more drawn to them.
- It also helps with types of soical media like twitter when the band can reply to questions asked by the fans.






 For our band they would use soical media such as facebook, twitter and also a personal band website to increase the consumption of the song and video, It will be easier to publish the song to a wider variety of audiences and will increase the number of people who buy it. Soical media is a way of free advertisement and a wide range of people use them so it is easy for them to get hold of the information that could be posted by our band.
